Perforations of the ear drum can heal spontaneously. If they don’t, traditionally surgery is advised - tympanoplasty. This is a microsurgical procedure requiring a cut behind the ear and a large bandage for 5-7 days.
We have now introduced 2 radically advanced procedures: Biostimulation for small perforations which avoids surgery altogether. The other is Biopatching- a highly advanced precise grafting technique requiring no cut behind the ear, no sutures and no bandages at all.
Another great advantage is being able to operate both the ears at the same sitting in cases of bilateral perforations.
Conditions apply of course.
But it is valid for more than 75% of the perforations and for residual perforations
